Similarly, the directive also mentions that children should be regularly monitored for their use of the Internet, and that they should be given the necessary orientation regarding the safe use of the Internet and the proper use of security tools. When parents talk openly with their children about potential risks, an environment can be created where they can talk openly about their problems.

It is necessary to manage access to websites and apps. It is the duty of parents to list the websites and apps that their children use regularly and inform them of the privacy policies and terms of use and restrictions of those websites and apps. It is also important to pay attention to whether such websites and apps are monitoring children's internet usage or not.

Children should be made aware of whether the websites and apps they use have collected their personal information or not and not provide such information.
